Lost screw in hull

I dropped the screw that you use to reconnect the battery which is no problem I got another screw and jetski started right up. My issue is I can’t find the screw inside the hull will it do any damage I don’t wanna go crazy looking for it

It don’t matter what screw you use as well right for positive and negative as long as it’s same size?

You mean the screw that connects the cable? When I replaced my battery, I did the same thing. Had to remove the battery and the housing. There were 3 "lost" screws under the housing - been there for years. Don't worry about it and keep extras on hand for the next time you drop one.

i have a 13mm socket that is lost in the hull of my xp. along with a couple other screws (yes, i replaced them all). you'll be fine.
