lost lanyard

I have a 1997 gtx,Scince i stored it last fall,i have lost and can no way find the lanyard cap and cable,Now what do i do,i have no idea,can someone please help me,is there a temporary solution,how can i find a new or used one,I also noticed that there is no vts switch to controll your tilt,what is up with that??
I would very much appreciate any help from anyone..

First... this is the boat section.

Second... go to a dealer, and have them program a new one. Not a big deal, but be ready to drop $60 to $100 depending on how they rape you.

The guy at my dealership is cool he does all that kind of 2 second programing and min. stuff for free so I will continue to bring my boat in for the real money makers like tune-ups and parts.

You have to take your PWC to the dealer. They program the ECU in the PWC to the new key.

So can i take the PWC out of the seadoo,and just bring that and the tip that the lanyard goes on,if i just bring them 2 things in to the dealership can they program me a new lanyard..can they do it for me that way?

I would recommend buying your own OEM seadoo key for your craft before buying the dealers they will RAPE YOU SILLY on prices, apparently Seadoo dealers are like the airports they don't actually know what the rest of the world charges for anything. Just bring the key in with your PWC (you ski) tow it with you to the dealership and have them program the key with the ECU programming box they have. My dealership actually isn't a full blown dealership just a partner in crime so to speak but they are great mechs, you should try to find one in your area, a boat, or ski, is a hole in the ground, plan on filling it with either time or money. Welcome!!! There is a reason I have stand-ups and not Seadoo jet skis. The boat is enough to handle.
