Yeah- keep looking :D. Seriously, I usually tilt the trailer back and shake it a bit to see if it will roll back into site. If not, I break out the flashlight and mirror and on a few occasions, grabbed the borescope from the toolbox for the real stubborn ones!

I'm lazy though, after a few minutes, I go to the bolt bin and grab another bolt knowing it will turn up eventually lol.

Get your blow gun and your compressor and just puff away under the engine.

Wait a minute? If you own that car in your avatar and you have no compressor I'm gonna have to revoke your man card!

Ill admit
I have a 350z but the car in the avatar is not mine. I wish...
I have a air compressor (like tire pump) but I dont generally use pneumatic tools so never got a real setup....

Can I use a garden hose with the drain plug open?

The inside looks like it could use a cleaning anyway. Is this a bad idea?

Edit

Leaf blower LOL

Yep, a hose might work .

I have found a lot of my stainless hardware at Lowes and true value.

off topic- I have been getting the itch for a 350 as a toy. Almost bought one new back in 05 but went with something more practical then. I have a low 11 second 01 z28 that I am considering selling to buy one, just not sure if I want one bad enough to do that lol.

Ive been debating selling my z and my truck to get a jeep or something 4x4 with potential. But I cant bring myself to part with the z...

Glad you didn't stop looking. You wouldn't be the first to destroy an engine by dropping a bolt into the intake and running it.

That was why I kept looking for it..... If it would've been not possible to fall into the intake then I probably would've wrote it off...
