New to me GTX 4tec. Prior owner stated noticed it had lost a reservoir of coolant the last time he rode it 2 years ago (hasn't used it since) and IM wondering if they had issues other than a head gasket where they develop a leak. IM new to the 4 stoke machines so I thought I would reach out here for ideas before i tear into it. Pulled the dipstick and the oil is clean so IM guessing it didn't leak into the base. IM going to remove the spark plugs and check to see if they have been steam cleaned at all with a leak. Any other advice would be great. Thanks guys.

The typical locations are:
1.. The hoses to the oil cooler. (On the starboard side of the engine)
2.. The hoses and connectors to the rideplate.
3.. The waterpump
The easiest thing to do would be to fill it properly and run it if you first determined it is not in the oil. (Which you did)

This is a great kit; the small silver cap fits the Sea-Doo coolant recovery tank. Pressurize the cooling system and find out where the coolant is goinig.

Another trick, you can connect the press gauge to the coolant recovery tank, and pressurize the system to 5 PSI. Start the engine, turn on the water supply, and watch the gauge. If you see an immediate pressure rises, you have a blown head gasket.
