Loose Battery

Hey everyone,
I was just inspecting my PWC and noticed the battery isn't secured tightly inside the tray. There is about 1/4" of play up and down, side to side. Is this correct? If not, any suggestions on how to better secure it?

Sounds like the wrong battery. It should have a 30 series battery in it. Example: ETX 30 L. What's the number on the battery?

It's a 30. So it should be secured tightly within the tray?

Yes, the battery should be tight in the tray. There should be a rubber pad under the battery. I suspect it is missing. Most of your replacement batteries are not as tall as the factory battery and a spacer needs to be installed between the top of the battery and the hold down bracket.
