HI,
i am looking for the parts manuals for a 95 xp and also for a 97 gsx. I am also looking for a speedometer for the 97 gsx. Also a cover for the steering handles on the 95. Can anyone tell me any good places or websites that basically has alot of seadoo parts? Seadoo stuff from dealers seems so high.
Thanks for your time.

If you become premium member you will get all the scoops you are looking for as parts go and the manuals to help you understand how to fix it. allso you will get seadoosnipe to tell you how to do it if you have any problems. at least I think so please correct me if I am wrong Louis. :)

You know me well Robin....

You know me well Robin. Feel free to speak for me any day. Welcome to the forum Mburgess.....
The parts index your looking for can be found at www.seadoo.com under their parts section, for the 97 anyway. I think their parts list ends for the year 1996. If I were you, I'd print all the parts pages for the 1997 model, because next year will be the last year they have the 97 on their site. As long as you have the part numbers, you'll be able to find your parts from cross reference for many years to come.

For your last question.....Parts....There is an online parts house that deals in used and hard to find parts. If you got the part number, it makes it easy as he files everything in order by that part number. Go to www.seadoosource.com and browse around. If they don't have what you want at the moment, drop him email and he'll probably be able to get it for you. Tell him the Seadoo forum sent you.

For new parts or hard to find parts, there are several online parts distributers. One I use is www.babbittsonline.com. They usually have what I need, when others don't. But, you may some of their parts pages missing the numbers and prices, but!....if you already have your parts number from Seadoo, you'll be able to use their cross reference part locator and find it.

For engines and pump parts along with carb rebuild kits.....I use www.sbtontheweb.com.

O.K, I've given you to many of my well kept secrets.....I think you will be happy now.......Good luck.

Thanks

Louis and Robin, thanks for the responses. Very helpful. I am a premium member already, but did not see any parts manuals, but maybe missed something. Louis, you are right about seadoo.com only going back to 97.Thanks for the other sites, I just got these skis 2 months ago, and i am already and addict, and looking forward to learning about them, riding them, and working on them. Thanks so much for both of ya'lls time.

Manuals...

Some of the manuals have the exploded views in each chapter with a parts diagrapm layout, along with the amount of labor a shop is suppose to do/charge you for the reapair, some do not. It's hit and miss with the Bombardier literature. They have made a lot of changes over the years.

But because of the availability of all the "free" parts catalogs on the net, we don't keep them specifically here.

Good luck!........
