Hi guys, first off, Im new here and this is my first post. I have a 95 xps twin carb PWC and I have an issue. Just a little history for me, Ive been a cycle tech for years and am understanding of 2-stroke engines but very little experience with ski's, as I dont take on work of them. Just letting you know so you dont have to speak in layman language lol. But anyway, It runs great for a few seconds and then boggs down and i have to keep it full throttle to keep it even running. If I toggle the fuel shut off switch back and forth, it wakes back up. Im familiar with the switch problem, so I actually took the switch apart, and cleaned it, let it soak in cleaner, and forced air thru it to clean it. I also replaced the o-ring in the switch. It flows great. I have also replaced every single green line with black fuel line from front to back. Completely disassembled , cleaned, and checked all internal parts of the carbs including the needle seats, the mains, the diaphrams ect ect. Every inch of the fuel system is either cleaned or new . All of the check valves also. It seems like such a simple problem, but its kicking my ass. the fuel filter also I didnt mention is cleaned. The fuel system holds pressure per requirements. The pulsator is working with no appearent leaks. I did NOT adjust the carbs , and didnt touch the needle adjusters or sync them, but the thing is , is that when it runs good, its running like it should, but it seems to be getting too much fuel at times or not enough to the carbs is my guess. Im stuck. What could be causing this intermitted condition. It will haull ass for about 7-20 seconds, and then barely run until i start toggling the fuel shut off valve. I have also by-passed the switch and tried it, and it only runs crappy that way. I have also verified that all the lines are correctly routed. any ideas?????. Oh by the way, it sat for a few years , which is why I have done what I have done with the fuel lines. Any ideas would be great help.
