Looking for 98 GTS MPEM

I was jump starting my GTS and it blew the MPEM, can this be repaired? Where can I buy one? Can I get an aftermarket MPEM and where?

I have one that came out of a GTI and was told that it would work in a GTS (please confirm this). The number is 278-000-916. It comes with a programed key. have it listed on ebay, but will pull it if you are interested.

Th one for the GTX is not going to work... but the one from the GTI will. The GTI and the GTS both had 720 engines.

Can you post a picture of the MPEM out of the GTI? How much do you want for it?

Were you still looking for a MPEM? I have a new one in the box. P/N 278001496, which that one was superseded to 278000916.

No, I had mine repaired by All things custom. He repaired it for $198.00.
