Just wondering if anyone on here has experience with the newer GTS 130.. I currently own a 2010 Seadoo Speedster 150.. Love the boat and keeping it but wanted to get another toy.. My schedule is hectic and sometimes when I am off I wanna go out on the water but no one else is around.. The boat is fun but when your by yourself it seems like a waste.. Plus some of my friends have ski's so it would be nice to have the option of what to bring out.. I was looking at prices on them.. MSRP shows 8,000.. I found a local place that I think I can get it cheap.. Probably 6500 if not cheaper.. Just wanted to see if anyone had some experience or input on them.. I know they are the entry level so they are not all decked otu with features but im not looking for anything crazy.. i was going to look around for a used ski but I am not very knowledgeable with this stuff so i tend to lean towards newer w/ warranty..

We just our GTS about a month ago and the entire family (including the wife and 15 yr old son) loves it. Not really any features, but we see that as a feature itself because it is very easy to operate. We owned a Yamaha almost 10 years ago and have not ridden one very recently, but I can say that I'm very surprised by the stability. I (all 230 lbs) can stand on one side and it will not tip over!! And very powerful too -- tops out around 54 MPH which is more than enough power for me, especially with a 15 yr old riding it constantly. It seems to be adequate for pulling a variety of toys as well (i.e. skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, etc.), but very hard to maintain a constant speed.
