yea I have the '99 :willy_nilly:

some of those after market seat covers are nice. a red/black or even a red/grey or all grey could be good

sad thing is that I can get grey for like $15 and do it myself, I already have the fabric.

or get a custom seat (no more blacktip, the last one let me down) for $100ish

I have black sheet goods turf,
i wonder if the handlebar covers from SBT fit on this model... hmmmmm (apparantly not)

hood and handlebar covers can be gotton for $90, or for $14 worth of Krylon.... hmmmm

$15 sounds like a good deal to me.

ya, but honestly, i hate doing seats with a sheet of vinyl, its a pain in the azz to get it to look right vs a precut seat cover and the multi color seats look pretty nice..., same deal with precut mats vs making your own, its just sooooo much easier.

but I bought a few yards of various colors off a canvas/vinyl shop , bought basically all their remnants for $5 a pop, and picked up about mabye 15 yards of various colors, and grey is the one color that I have a bunch left of.

that's why I just bought a WHOLE seat for mine

$75 for precut + stainless staples + a crap load of work.. OR $100 for the WHOLE seat from another 99....

tada!

You could go that route and find a red one or black or grey OEM if they made them.

nathan, you just need to bring a double trailer down to florida and we'll hook you up !!!!

Thats a great Idea except I wouldn't be able to stand driving that long lol! I'm sure the deals are MUCH better down there...as you can see the prices up here are nuts! I see people here on the forum getting late 90's ski's with trailers running for under 1000 thats crazy....unheard of here!

Two years ago I bought a 1995 spi with trailer for $500, last year a non running gs for $550 with a trailer. The deals are around just harder to find and when you do find them you must act fast.

I totally agree! I have seen some deals around here but not often, but when they do come around they usually go in a few hours so you better be there quick and have the cash ready! usually people who are moving out of town or something sell cheap!
