Loctite red or anti-seize

I changed the wear ring on my 2007 non SC Speedster the manual says to use anti-seize for the impeller to shaft threads. I read a lot here and everyone seems to say red loctite is the proper chemical to use. What should I use? Also, is the loctite 2 part marine epoxy the same as Marine Tex? Thanks.

Never mind about the anti seize question. I found a thread where Chester said to use anti seize. OK, question answered. What about the Loctite marine epoxy, is it the same and can it be used the same as Marine Tex?
