Now that I"ve found a way to do a live broadcast through streaming my web cam online, live, I'll be looking to put together a thread dedicated to a schedule so everyone that would like to participate, will get that chance.
Yesterday was my first live broadcast. b15philly was able to help me out by being the first to sign up. So, I went through the process of doing a pop-off test for him.
In the near future, I will allow at least a 3 day advance notice in this thread, of my intentions with a time and subject as to what is going to be performed. b15philly said the vid was good quality and he had no problem following the instructions.
He did say that he used the "search" engine with my username "seadoosnipe" and was able to find my live stream faster.
This is the link I used yesterday. It will take you to a page that will allow you to enroll. I know you have to sign up in order to view the broadcast. So, go ahead and enroll, get yourself a username and password and when the time comes, you'll be ready. Here's a copy to the link... http://www.ustream.tv/broadcaster/2689773
I do not know if that ID (2689773) will change with each new broadcast I do. But, from what Philly said, using the search engine is probably going to be the fastest way.
Here, in the near future, I'm going to do an impeller and wearing ring change out, or removal and inspection. That's because I have a spare left over from the work I did for ruff cut. So, it will be easy for me to set up for the first few times of the broadcast so I can get used to navigating it.
All you need is a computer with speakers. No web cam is needed. Then, sign up with a username.
I look forward to seeing you guys onine. Check back now and then to see when I've posted here, in this thread, for a date and time, along with the subject, of my next online broadcast.
I believe this is going to be a super great venture for the Seadooforum!...
