Limp mode and maintenance

I have a 2002 GTX DI and I keep changing the voltage rectifier because the maintenance light keeps going on. Or starts beeping when I hit the gas. It did it this weekend so I just change the Spar plugs and I’m plug the battery in the ran fine after that.

So how do you know it's the rectifier that keeps giving you trouble? It will typically flash the 12V low if the rectifier is bad.

I’m not 100% sure but after I change it always works well.

Probably aftermarket rectifiers. Go to the dealer and spend the 265 for an OEM correct rectifier.
