Rusty, contaminated bearings, Chinese or not, don't last long. Looks like the counterbalance gear isn't well aligned with the crank gear, maybe a bearing issue!
The crank has been sitting outside for over a week which will account for some of the rust but my guess is water got in this engine at some point. Bearings don't fail at the same time without reason. Ehhhh.... perhaps both reached the end of the service life at the same time. Ha ha.
