The two halves aren't coming together as they should, water is leaking when I am on throttle.

Any ideas what is causing the misalignment/ leak?

Well I took it apart and saw I have a torn bellows causing water to be in the "dry" portion of the valve. This was causing excessive pressure and causing the case to expand (leaking)

Any idea how I can repair the bellows to get back on the water while I wait for a part?

Will add a pic shortly.

I only had a small pinhole in mine and put black permatex on boths sides of the bellows and let it cure overnight. Its been holding for 3 years. That's a pretty good size tear though, I think any temporary repair is going to need some kind of reinforcement mesh along with the permatex and still may not hold. The upper clamp rusts and usually causes the tear.

Yes the upper clamp rusts but not as bad as the lower clamp which is actually the one that punctures the underside of the bellow like what is being pictured above, use a small zip tie on the bottom in place of the metal clamp.

upper in his picture, lower when assembled :) I believe the band clamp is Stainless Steel. But, yes use a small zip tie that fits in the groove of the bellows but trim off the corners of the nub so it doesn't wear a hole. Some guys smooth the corners with a soldering iron.

My replacement should be here tomorrow. but I did try to repair it with permatex and a chemical resistant glove lol! It worked until I flexed it a few times, then is split along the original tear.

I like the tire patch and gorilla tape idea though!

I ended up installing my part last night. If the rain holds off I will give it a test today.

Does anyone know of any signifigant difference between the 951 and the 787 exhaust water valve (Rave)?

The one I purchased is a bit different (housing) but the bellows appears to be the same. I just pulled and replaced the bellows but was curious what changed with the housing in the 951.

It looks like it's going to be a crappy rainy weekend here in my part of GA.

Yep, same here.

Just as I leave work, the bottom is supposed to stop.

I also want to test this new mount on my XP

Looks like our summer that never was! We have been chased off a lake 4 times this summer with thunder storms!
