I’m looking for help to fix this leak. About sank when we beached the ski and went to eat dinner. Looks like a hard place for a DIY person to reach. It’s coming out of hole that controls steering paddles. Ski fills and when we pulled out it poured out. Removed the screws and saw a rubber washer type thing. Didn’t appear to have any cracks. Anybody ever attempt to fix a leak like this?
HELP!!

What year is your Seadoo? If it is pre S3 hull design, that looks like your OPAS boots are worn and need to be replaced. Or you get the RIVA block off kit and remove the OPAS all together, your choice.

It’s a 2003. Only one with a composite jet housing as well which I switched out years ago for an aluminum one. I had a composite that broke 2x due to muskrats opening shells at end of lift that got sucked through and cracked them.

Okay, then they still sell the rubber parts to repair your leak. Or the block off kit and you don't have to worry about changing them again:

Sea Doo RXP/RXT/GTX/RXP-X/RXT-X RIVA Performance OPAS Block Off Kit - ADD MPH+

RIVA
SKU: RS29050-1

$109.95

Any idea how hard a job this is for a DIY? It looks like the shaft controlling pump direction would need to be taken off but is there more and any suggestions on how to remove? I imagine it would be vice grips on it to twist off. If that and Then replacement of rubber gaskets and then screw back together I would hate to wait 3 weeks for a service tech

Search the internet or youtube. I saw a few of them on OPAS boot replacement. I believe there are one for the RIVA block off plate install as well.
