Late winterizing

Ive just have a quick question about winterizing my speedster i didnt have the time to do it before but im doing it tonight or tomorrow. Right now the boat is sitting in a heated garage but was outside until this morning its not complete frozen ( ^%*% weather drop more then it was suppose ) there just a bit of slush in some hose do you think ive hurt something? I will leave it sit for a least 6 hours before starting to winterize it. Like i said its not frozen hard only a thin slush i can crush easyly just by pressing on hose.

Is the only question "did you hurt something"?

Not sure what anyone could tell you other than it is possible. Just because you saw slush in the hoses doesn't mean that it didn't completely freeze in the engine block.

Maybe to help ease your mind a little, damage from freezing is only a possibility, not a certainty. It all depends on how much and where the water is lying in the engine.

Hopefully, your procrastination didn't cost you!

i will start engine tomorrow morning to see if dammage but i really dont think it hurt something it melt real fast,

Well ive done my winterizinfg yesterday and everuthing was perfect ive start engine before just to make sure it was running good.

1. Ive put stabiliser in Fuel tank and run it on hose to get it in the engine

2. Ive fog engine until it stop and rremoved plug and shoot into plug hole

3. Ive flush engine with RV coolant

4. Change jet pump oil

5. Lurbicate everything in engine bay with WD 40


also notify when i change jet pump oil i will need a Wear ring on one side i was expecting this because when i was getting ready to put boat on trailer last time it feel like something went trough the jet so was not a surprise and i know its my fault from last ride because before it was running well and now the wear ring is broken (78$ direct from seadoo store , not too bad i will order probably 2 or 3 just in case i need some next summer)


Oh and ive also remove battery for winter


Now im just waiting for next summer to enjoy my new toy !!!
