Went out and rode Lake Austin for about two hours yesterday. It was about 75 and sunny with water temp about 61. Only about two other boats on the whole lake so the water was like glass most of the time. My wife thought I was crazy but it was great. Brought my ski back home and winterized it. At least until the next warm day!

I was out a week back in Scottsdale AZ but I think thats it for this year. We are heading back to Canada for Christmas next week. Nice thing about Arizona - boating season starts in January and runs right through December.

I had my last ride 2 weekends ago. 75 degrees in the sun. frigid ice water under the ski :D. it snowed about 8 inches 24 hours later.

No last ride of the season for me. Got skis to water test but it doesn't get cold for very long in South Louisiana. We had a reunion on the beach of the Gulf of Mexico a couple weeks ago where I said, I'd move further south but we'd be in the water. LOL I really like the climate where we live. Truly is paradise.

Driving me nuts here. 75 above?? We are living in two different worlds here. I have to get down there and enjoy some sunshine.

I just don't like spiders, they are too big down there.

Spiders aren't bad. Skeeters are bad but now when it is chilly. Water was kinda chilly in the canal today too but the air temp was 65-ish.

75 is summer up here in Seattle.
I just don't like me the snakes. Heard there are water moccasins or something like that that hang around the water. No thanks...

Snakes aren't an issue around here. LOL We're not riding in the swamps Some places there are a few gators. :) The swamp in the picture is just off a main waterway "The Pearl River" that divides Louisiana & Mississippi. :) Lots of Jet skis in the "Pearl" :D:D My daughter always asks, "Dad this ski isn't going to kill is it? I don't want to fight alligators to get back." :)

I'm kicking into high gear. I have a few skis with issues I need to get straight so that means much water testing. :D:DSwamp Tour 1_Moment-2.jpgSwamp Tour 5 Round Lake_Moment 2.jpgSwamp Tour 5 Round Lake_Moment.jpg

The guy with his arm outside the rail was the individual feeding the gators to make them come out of the water. They use Hot Dogs. The gators are not very aggressive but one of the big rules for the rest of us is... "keep all body parts INside the rail." Happy Thanksgiving back at ya !!!!

Happy thanksgiving Seadoo family. Stranded in SoCal.
