No, the DESS (digital electronic security system) was developed for the purpose to deter theft. The mpem will not allow power to be supplied to the coils for it to run.
If you just want to here it turn over, you could jump the solenoid. But it won't start. You'll have to take it to a Seadoo dealership and buy a new lanyard from them and get the mpem programmed to it. I'd buy a couple, so you have a spare.
Trying to "hotwire" this machine may short circuit the mpem, which could cost you several hundred dollars to replace if you do.........:cheers:
