I am going to use a K&N oil filter for the first time. The original Seadoo OEM filter comes with the rubbers seals. Do I use the rubber seals from the old filter on the new K&N filter?

Not dissin' K&N but I would be leary of installing one in a ski. They are an oiled air filter and have a tendancy to throw off your MAF (Mass Air Flow Sensor) with the oil that gets sucked in. That along along with dampness that can generate in the hull of a ski I would stick with stock.

Just my $0.02

Hey BMANN06, jimraab is referring to his OIL filter and not air filter. I use K&N oil filters all the time and have never had a issue. The K&N filters I use have new rubber seals on each end already (just like OEM). Are you sure you're getting a real K&N filter? The box you say K&N and the filter pleats will be dark red.

Thanks dennis and sorry OP. i was a bit of a keyboard ninja and didnt read your post correctly. Pay no attention to me lolz.
