hi everyone i took my sea doo speedster out 4 the first time today and i noticed that at full throttle the one motor was rev at 7000 rpm and the other at 4000 rpm would anyone know why that could be and also when boat stops it has a constant beep.....pretty loud!!! any suggestions...thanks so much

constant beep is an overheat warning. feel the tops of the 2 engines. is one hotter than the other?

650 motors. water hits the exhaust first, then goes into the motor. if one motor is getting hot, pull both exhausts off the boat and flush them with a garden hose. compare the amount of water you get out of where. now put exhausts back on, but switch engines. if neither heats up, you fixed it. if same one heats up, it isn't an exhaust problem. if other one heats up, throw away the pipe and get a used one from ebay for about 25 to 50 bucks. if the 2 exhaust gaskets look ok, you can probably get away with re-using them.

big trouble???

hi everyone, i took my 95 speedster out there was a constant beep so i kept feeling both engines and they felt the same mind u this was checket 2 times in a 5 minit period so anyways one engine was running at 7000 rpm the other at 4000 rpm full throttle then when i was driving the motor that was 4000 rpm shut down long story short it will not fire up again....im wondering is the motor seized????

pull the plugs and see if the motor will crank. if not jump solenoid. if not take off grey plastic cover and see if the PTO 9rear) flywheel will turn-first by hand then with vise-grips or a pipe wrench. if it cranks, check the compression.
