Ok so I recently (3 weeks ago) took my Islandia in for service at an authorized dealer and was told that the only thing my boat needed was new spark plugs. I thought that was awesome but was a little sceptical since my baby had sat for two boat season (a late fall deployment to iraq followed by a cross country move).
So anyways I wasn't very surprised when my overheating warning beep come on (at least I hope that is what is it) and I have lost the ability to go over 30 mph at full throttle. As of right now I'm going to change the oil, air and fuel filters and check all fuses and ensure teh strator is properly filled and that there are not any metal shaving in there. I'm just really dissapointed in the service inspection that I got especially after sheling nearly 300 bones.
Is there anything else I should be looking for or need to check? I have all the parts mentioned on hand I just need the Army to give me some time to do it.
