Hey all. I know you all have answered this probably many times but I can't seem to find a good resource on here for new impellers or impeller repair.
I have stocks on my 98 speedster that are way hacked after taking some ropes over the years.
Its deffinately time and I have been trying to search on ebay but there are just to many out there that state they are compatible with my year but there seems to be no way to confirm that.
Probably going to send mine in for repair but new ones or after market is always an option as well.
Any and all suggestions as the season come near is welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

Im dealing with this same situation now. So far I have done LOTS of research on impellers and found it all to be very informative. I think though its just better to leave it to the professionals. You can call the manufactures of the impellers you're looking at or call the people that live for PWC impellers. Check out Impros.com and call and talk to david. He really knows his stuff. Impros can repair, refinish, or re pitch you current impellers. They can also tell you what aftermarket impeller to use for your application. There are lots of sites on the web that have good information but if you call impros they will save you a bunch of time.

TY - Now next I see..

Thanks guys, I did contact Dave and my impellers will be sent out to him within a couple days, I decided to change the pitch for a bit more low end.

However, he did mention that the leading edges of the plastic of the jet pump right after the impeller can make a big difference in the cavataing. Once I took my impellers off the housing I saw I had a few 1/4 x 1/4 or smaller chips out of these leading edges, how can I fix this? I am considering some sort or fiberglass to clean these edges up since I am in there.

Does anyone have any information on how to fix these or when its actually necessary?
FYI - I was told my housings might be brass and rugged, or plastic, mine are plastic.
