Jet ski not reaching to speed

I have 2003 GTX 4 Tec Supercharged. It ran fine before I put it away for the winter. I took it out today for the first time since winter. It started fine but would only reach 40 mph. It usually reaches mid 60’s. Could this be as simple as stale gas?? Hoping. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

How much TIME has passed since being rebuilt? Needs to be rebuilt every 2 years regardless of hours. The bearing cages are plastic and they get bottle over time

It was 2 years ago. Did I do damage by waiting too long? This was the first it ever did this.

To check the super charger,,,I put 1 hand on the supercharger outlet hose,,and then rev the motor,,,the hose should "swell."...how's the fuel pressure?

1st thing to do is change the plugs and top up with fresh (ethanol-free) gas. SC should be fine at 2 years and 80 hours unless it was defective to start with or incorrectly installed.
