When you say it's cavitating under a load, do you mean while at full throttle it starts to cavitate? Or, does it seem to be slippping?

When you are pulling a tube up on plane, does it cavitate? Does it cavitate just going from idle to plane?

A couple things, you could have air being sucked in from your seal ring at the shaft or wondering if your having problems with your drive shaft.

When the drive shaft starts to strip out, you can idle up then try to increase the power, just to have the shaft let go and the engine rev up.

Look into the pump from the grate side. If you have debris in there, it will cavitate!
If nothing, pull the nozzel off and look at the prop to pump clearance. .008 is
good, .040 or more is bad. Maybe you need to seal around the rideplate, as air
can weep into the vortex-suction side of the prop. Hope its just seaweed!

thanks every one..

\there was a big rock stuck in it but pilled that out and was no better...
sounds like the drive shaft is slipping.. will pull it out And have a look.
and the prop might be worn.
