Hi, are there any of seadoo's jet boats that will handle in 1-2' chop(some white caps) on bay conditions or are they all generally lake & river boats? I'm ready to pull the trigger on a ski, however I'm interested if a boat may be to my liking better. Also can someone comment on fuel consumption & efficiency compared to a comparible size sterndrive??

cheers David

I've spent the entire day at the lake in our Challenger 180 and never put more than 10-12 Gallons in her. As for the chop I doubt you are going to find many boats of this size that handle chop well. Even the bigger 21' seadoo's will get tossed around pretty good.
