I have a 2000 gtx sea doo bombardier. I was out on water and my exhaust tube got so hot it burned a hole in the connector. It was smoking under seat and I had plenty of rpms but sea doo wouldn’t go just sputters and dies. Someone told me exhaust is clogged. Can anyone advise on what to do.

Lack of water flowing through the exhaust, quite possibly the engine also, start looking for the blockage as to why you have no flow. Start from the jet pump line to the water valve on top the exhaust. Pull lines off and blow them out, you'll eventually find it.

Great start from GG, Also check that your jet pump is not clogged with debris, and that your drain line is not plugged with sand or shells, etc..

You talking about the pee hole?

That's just an indicator, and even with that flowing out doesn't mean you still don't have a blockage somewhere. On the hose you're backflushing, in the water the jet pump is forcing the water flow. Start at the jet pump and work your way to the engine. Download a service manual at SeaDoo Manuals - FREE PDF Download! to get idea of all the water routing and flow direction. If it got hot enough to burn a hole in the exhaust connection, you didn't have the flow through the exhaust to cool it. Why? we don't know exactly where to look, but flow not going through the water valve or the engine is your problem, it's one or the other or both.

You may have sucked up something to cause a blockage, so I'd start at the jet pump.
