Suke and I are installing UMI on my 95 XP800. Absolutely can not get the steering cable bolted to the UMI bracket. Got th 2 half moons around the steering cable fitting but can't get the steering cable situated in a position to line up the half moon piece with the 2 holes in the UMI bracket. I can get one screw in but the other isn't happening because of the pressure the cable is contorting things.
Is this a common issue or is something going on?
Can someone post pictures of their UMI installed and how the steering cable is routed?
