Is this a tow rope mini tower?

Is the part circled in the photo a ski rope mini tower? If so what this a factory option or an aftermarket add on?

I don't know if they were stock or not on the 1800. But, they were a factory/dealer option.

Yeah that is the stock ski pylon. That is for skiing only. If you hook a tube to that you will bend it. Too much resistance from a tube to pull on that. For tubes you need to use the hook on the back of the boat.
