Is there just ONE of the "#5" fuel filters on the carburetors?

Okay, I took the front carb apart far enough to get the little filter out...it was FILTHY!

Is there one in the other carb? The Service Manual doesn't seem to indicate it...

I just took the 'rear' one out...my goodness, it was solid black with crap! The front one was pretty dirty but nothing like this.

Yep good thing you caught this, it's a blown engine waiting to happen.

Have you replaced the fuel lines?

Yep! All new fuel lines. Should be better than new now.
