My RPMs cant go over 6, and the fixer said that "engine protects itself when it needs to be heavy maintenanced",
is that correct ?

Yes, there are certain maintenance issues that will cause it to enter “limp home mode”. It is a reduced RPM function that both protects the ski and the rider from serious damage. It is a one time use design to get the rider and ski back to “home”.

When this happens you will see “limp home mode” on the MFD.

Ohh. Thanks for the reply. So how can I see the issue ? Btw, there are no issues or alerts on the screen, its totally clean.

You can scroll thru the active faults with the mode button and display them on the MFD. Check your Operators Manual for specific instructions.

But if its in LIMP mode, it must beep, or show a sign on the screen, or written "LIMP Home" there right ?
None of these above are there.

We need to know what year and model ski you have first. Limp mode is a little different for different years and also displayed differently where some years don't tell you it's in limp mode.

6000 RPM seems high for limp home mode, and pretty sure it should display on the MFD on a 2015, if you want to do anything yourself, changing the spark plugs is the first step.

2015 GTX

Engine icon with “limp home mode” displayed. That’s from your operators manual.

A maint code won't put it into limp mode if it's a basic maintenance interval.will just flash maint and a wrench icon will come on.if it is in limp mode you have a problem.if memory serves me right if it limits to 6000 it is a battery voltage problem and will limit lower and lower till idle speed
