intake grate missing

hey guys got a 94 gtx with 650 in it. was doing a pre summer inspection and noticed my intake grate was missing. Wondering if anyone knew where i could get a stock or a upgraded one from. been looking around but no real luck. what affects would it have with out one being there?

The grate keeps out large debris from entering the pump area. Try our "parts" link at the top of the page or in my avatar for the part needed.
