Hello yet again friends,
I am in the middle of installing a new marine AM/FM CD stereo in my 96 challenger. I have all of the speaker wires figured out however I am left with the constant 12v Pos, the negative, and the control or switched wire.
Before I go any further the old constant power wires Pos and Neg ran into the control box in the engine compartment with one of the spark plug wires and caused a short to one of the spark plugs....I dont want to do that again.
So my question is where are these 3 wires supposed to be connected? Is there a place at the helm wiring for the radio?
I know that I could hook the constants up to directly to the battery but I really dont want to do that. I would much rather wire the stereo per factory settings....
