Hi,

We had a little accident and tipped our Seadoo RXP 2007 over, it was upside down for to long and the engine compartment was flooded with saltwater. We flushed the engine and the engine runs fine on two cylinders. But on one of the cylinders the injector is constantly spraying maximum of it's capacity when the DESS is connected. The injector itself is working, we have tried changing it.

Is the ECU broken, or could the problem be located elsewhere?

Any advice would be appreciated :) Thank you!

So if you swap the injector to another cyl the original cyl still has the same prob? Then it would be a electrical prob prob the engine computer do you kno anyone with a similar ski try there computer and see if it fixes it

Yes, the original cylinder has the same problem if i swap injector with an other cylinder.

I don´t know anyone with the same ski. I guess i need to bring it back to the shop.

have the dealer plug it into a B.U.D.S tool and see if your ecu got partially shorted, i know the ecu functions on a negative impulse so if something shorted, that cylinders injector harness could be constanly grounded thus causing the solinoid in the injector to stay open which is why it could be spraying fuel constanty. just my two sence.

Yeah, i guess it's the ECU. It's a long drive to closest dealer, i will call and ask if i can send him the ECU by mail.

Unplug the ECU (on top of the engine) and see if any water got into the connectors.
