Hello guys

Hope all you are doing well. This is my first post. I recently purchased a Seadoo 2001 Millenium, I pre mix the fuel. It doesnt have a MPEM instead has MSD Enhancer, the PWC works great but I have no infocenter since is not connected. All I want is fuel indication or an alternative so I can have a working fuel gauge. The fuel sensor in the tank looks good with the two pin wire connector and reads good ohms.

Any help or ideas will be appreciated and welcome

You just tie into power when the key is on(purple wire usually). The 2 pink wires (does not matter which is which) from the gauge go to the 2 coming from the tank baffle.

I'd also like to see where they set the MSD Enhanser switches on that 951 especially if it has run for a long time like that. If your in there again please snap me a pic or just let me know "on or off" from left to right.

Hello Matt I finally got the time to work with the connections. I ran into a little problem. Since I hace.no mpem, connected power to the two wire connector, colors purple and black. The infocenter wont turn on at all. I have the service manual the diagram shows those two.wires as power. Im I missing something?

Does.the infocenter require other connections in order to turn on?

Your help or a small hint will be appreciated

Black is ground so I hope you didn't put that to power. Purple is the hot wire. You should see something light up when connected to 12v + and -. Sometimes other gauges get their power from this gauge so maybe you were on the power out instead of the power in or something.

I pulled the whole indicator with the harness out. The two pin connector Im using is the one that is jumper from the speedo. Definetly agree with you in terms of the color. Didnt cross those two.

There is nothing connected to the gauge just power.

It looks like my gauge is a defective. The schematic on that page for the gauge part 278001540 confirms it should turn on once power is applied.

Matt I appreciate your help if there is anything I could help you out let me.know.

I don't think so but I'm not 100 percent sure. If you have tried the power to purple and the black to all the grounds then you should see it come on if it's good.
