What is the best impeller pitch for a stock 720 motor........Id like to pick some extra mph... Hope someone can help id like to order something soon........Thanx

Skat-Trak's website recommends a 15/20 Swirl. Unfortunately, you won't gain any top speed with a Swirl impeller. It's made for bottom end and you will lose a little top end. The Sportster, having a single 720, is underpowered. If you put an impeller in that will gain top speed, you will hate the amount of time it takes to come up on plane.

this specific info, com'n from the man at Watercraft magic, had mentioned, the 14.5/22.5 Swirl, does "wonders" for the 720 powered boats...

He's referring to PWC's and twin engine boats, not single engine boats.

But, before taking my advice, I'd call the Skat Trak techline number and confirm it with Glen Perry or Greg stewart at Skat Trak and see what they think about it. Maybe they have a better choice now.

I don't mean to hijack this thread but I figured it was somewhat on topic.

97 GTI. Is there an impeller out there that would give me some top end AND bottom end? If not, maybe one that would give me top end and at least not lose any bottom end?
