Impeller Question

While the engine is out being rebuilt, I figured I'd give the pump an overhaul, since I was planning to do it this off season anyway.

Pulled it apart today and discovered it has a Skat-Trak 17/22 in it. My question is in regards to the impeller boot. There was only a remnant of the boot left in the old impeller and I'd like to put a new one in when I go back together.

It seems like the different impellers have different boots. Or is it one size fits all? Can someone recommend a part the would fit the skat-trak impeller?

You could call Skat-Trak. They are still in business and great to deal with.

Thanks Miki I did find another thread where someone else asked the same question. From the answers they got, it sounds like the OEM boot/ring will not fit the ST swirl. I'll definitely give them a call

Just an update, I did call Skat-Trak and they did send me a new boot free of charge. Great customer service and super nice people. Thanks again Miki!
