impeller housing damage

I have a 95 spi and I started taking my jet pump apart to replace the wear ring when I noticed that 2 of the impeller housing fixed blade fins were half cracked off. The impeller is fine but after replacing the wear ring will this cause any significant problems because it is after the actual propulsion? I would assume not but please let me know what you guys think, I just want to order parts so I can get back on the water this weekend.

Hi Chad, welcome to the site.

Can you post a few pictures of the damage? I believe you are referring to Stator Veins being cracked or damaged. I think these pumps aren't too expensive to replace.

It isn't ideal for performance, I would be more concerned with the gap between the wear ring and the impeller, it "looks" a bit large to me. [MENTION=41828]Minnetonka4me[/MENTION] can hook you up with good replacement parts, feel free to send him a pm.

I don't think you risk too much running like that since any more that comes off will just shoot out the back. If it were mine I would fix it.
