Impeller Compatability

I posted last week about an issue I had and I think I am going to try to solve it with changing the impeller out. I have a 2004 Seadoo RXP 215 (supercharged) with a stock impeller. I was wondering if a 2009 Seadoo RTX 215 stock impeller will work.

My neighbor has his original impeller with less than 10hours on it and would give me a major discount on it. I have searched high and low to see if the newer model impeller will work with my '04 with no luck. I am thinking it will not work for the fact that whenever I search parts the models they are grouped from 'xx to '08 and from '09 to '13. I did look up the part numbers for each of the impellers and they do not match, but are they compatible? Does anyone have information on this?

I don't think so. I had a similar problem last summer and I found the pumps changed in 2009

Are they compatible? Yes, however I'm not sure they are the same pitch. Best bet is to call your local dealer and have them check if it is the same part number.

I had some spare time and checked part numbers. Yours for the RXP is 267000096 and the 09 RXT is 267000437 so that means they are a different pitch and will affect the performance of your ski.
