Impeller Boot Ripped Apart

I have. 2007 GTI 130. Changed the jet pump assembly and replaced the impeller boot the ski ran great. The problem I saw is the impeller boot was basically ripped to shreds after using the ski 1 time. Any idea why?

Did you use an aftermarket boot? I had problems with aftermarkets doing the same thing, the OEM boot is much stronger and I found if you use the thread sealant that BRP recommends it does not come loose either.

Yes i got a new one and used the thread sealant and it worked...Thank you!
