I just had a similar experience. I find out after THREE YEARS of troubleshooting, and replacing the engine over FOUR times, that the jetting on mine is all jacked up. Check the carbs or raptors will come to your house in your sleep. or mabye it's dingos. whatever it is, check everything.

so does this mean we are not trading SABRE LOL....i had the trailer hooked up to the jeep ready for a nice drive to PA

Thanks a lot for all your help! The fuel selector was almost plugged solid with that green goo. Also found a pin hole in one of the new gas lines I put on. Waiting on a delivery of another one, then I'll keep you posted. Thanks again!!!

I even sent you pics of how nasty they can get, but glad you found it. Don't special order fuel lines. Go by the inexpensive black 1/4 in. line from Advance Auto, AutoZone, O'Reilly's or some place like that. It's cheap and on hand at most stores and lasts for years. Get 20-25 ft of it and just cut it at whatever length you need for each run. Then, while you're at the parts store, pick up that filter I mentioned earlier.

:banghead: i'm at a total road block with this thing...getting tons of spark, has great compression, carbs have been rebuilt, all new gas lines, cleaned out fuel selector and i still got nothing....

try to remove the plugs and pour a small amount of gas in the cylinders then try to start it see what happends

As far as the fuel lines go, I labeled everything and replaced one at a time....only thing I may have screwed up was the position of the lines on the screw off filter...

pop off dosent matter unless you have a running ski so dont worry about that for now....when you crank the ski does the fuel filter bowl fill up or is it dry.......if you mixed the lines up it wont run.......

The bowl is full. So the must be alright...on a side note, when I'm rolling it over, there is a little exhaust smoke coming out of the tail pipe....?

thats normal that means that its firing..... did you try the fuel in the cylinders until you do that we cant go further

pour a little more in and hold the throttle wide open while you crank it and see if it fires...try it a couple times

no problem ill be online for about another 2 hrs while im at work so ill try to help the best i can

did what you said about 5 or 6 more times, and the best i got whas while on the start button, the engine almost sounded like it was starting to go a little faster than what the starter was making it do... but thats it!!!! now unfortunatley i have to take my daughter to cheer leading, so i won't be at it anymore this evening. but feel free to weigh in on any other things i should look at in the mean time. thanks again

Is there a way it could have jumped its timing or something? I did get it to kick once, but nothing more. She got loads of spark, but when I pull the plugs, they are soaked with gas! Also exhaust comes out of the plug holes when I take them out.

when u take out the spark plugs and turn it over is it kicking out gas out cylinders

try leaving the plugs out over night and try starting again tomarrow with wot and turn off the gas.

take the airbox off and crank the ski over and while cranking it put your hand over the carb and see if it is sucking air in or blowing it out

It's sucking air. Everything seems to be working the way it should, which is why I'm starting to get frustrated, because I'm pretty mechanically inclined. Been working on atvs and dirt bikes for years.

if you didnt mess with the rotary valve timing then that shouldnt be off....have you tried a small shot of starting fluid..... if that dosent work and you have spark next thing to check would be removing the intake and seeing if the rotary valve is spinning

I check that when I had the carbs off, all seemed ok. when I turn it over with the choke , fuel was spitting out thru the carbs, so I turned the gas off and pulled the plugs and rolled it over to get the residual fuel out of the cylinders. But it just keeps coming....would that be just what's left in the lines?
