Has anyone ever boated down the Illinois river from Chicago to the Mississippi river? I'm thinking of doing a PWC adventure, and trying to do the whole thing (not in a day). ANY input would be appreciated...Where to dock up for the night, where gas is available. Hazards along the way. Locks etc. etc.
Also, can anyone recommend "scenic" rivers that are conducive to boating and more specifically PWCs?
