I’ve just finished rebuilding the carbs on a 96 spx with the 717 engine. Replace the fuel lines and all new filters. Also had to split the case and change the pto seal. So the engine has been through a lot. It starts fine at around 3000 rpm on the trailer but then gradually drops in idle down to 1400 or so. It doesn’t quite die but it struggles to stay alive. Any ideas what I could have going on here? I used genuine parts for all replacements.
