i need some help!

I don't see any fuse holders in the photo, but if you mean inside the e-box I think there's two fuses if you have VTS and just one if no VTS.

The RR fuse is always hot, so it doesn't matter if the lanyard is on or off the post. Maybe this is an VTS issue?
 
the plug hanging in the middle of the pic is the fuse holder. it blows it right away. it goes from the battery to the fuse, then to the rectifier. it blows out the fuse immediately
 
The rectifier does not have a fuse. Maybe that's where they had it but its wrong. Just try unplugging vts then see if fuse blows. What year and model ski?

Two questions:

1) Isn't the RR fuse hot all the time regardless of lanyard? Where does the black wire from the RR go, directly to ground? If the black wire is connected to ground, then what aspect of the RR circuit changes when you place the lanyard on? What I mean is, the RR fuse has nothing to do with the lanyard. The RR fuse might blow if the stator is bad, or if the RR is bad. So, it's easy to test the stator with an ohmmeter.

2) While you're poking around in there check the stator by measuring the resistance between the three yellow wires and each of the yellow wires to ground. There should be ~ 1 Ohm from one yellow wire to the other yellow wire and no continuity to ground for any of the three.

Will verify in the morning. I know that the hot wire goes to the fuse, and the other one to the box. I couldn't see where the black one goes but its probably a bad regulator. Also the vts doesn't work but the motor is good

Don't say probably bad regulator until you test the stator first! Water in the stator cover, bits and pieces of a broken starter bendix, or loose stator bolts can damage the stator and the flywheel magnets, so testing it is first thing to do and it only takes a minute or two.
 
Ok I do see now that it is somehow attached to rectifier. Follow the other side of that fuse holder. Where does it go???
 
If the fuse blows when you put lanyard on that COULD MAY BE the mpem. Sorry bro but try another rectifier if you have one laying around. Or borrow from a buddy.
 
Now i get the 2 beeps and 4 long beeps. I left it alone and started to crank but the solenoid starter making noise and cranked interment. If i jump it, it cranks normal. Then started getting 4 beeps again


It doesn't blow when lanyard is in. It is always hot. But now it does not blow. I am confused lol
 
Total of 6 beeps. 2 when lanyard in put on. 1 crappy sounding beep, and 3 long beeps. As that happens the mpem buzzes and something in the rear also buzzes. Unplugged vts and still buzzes. It no longer blows the fuse. I put it in and the fuel pump activates whether the lanyard is on or not
 
Maybe your solenoid is corroded inside, I replaced one just yesterday, for this reason. This was on a Mercruiser with a similar solenoid, I opened the solenoid and one of the terminals was corroded slightly.

Assuming your battery is strong and battery cables are in good condition.

I don't know what to think about your RR fuse sometimes blows, sometimes not blow, maybe defective RR(shorted internal diode) and the ground wire is loose. Or it's possible the starter bendix is broken so broken metal pieces are stuck to the flywheel magnet and caused a stator to ground short. If you know for sure stator is okay, then it must be RR is shorted. I lean towards shorted RR.

You can unplug the RR connector and run ski, except the battery charging circuit is disabled so the battery will run down.

buzzing like relay buzzing, sounds like a low battery, or loose/corroded connection somewhere. Battery should measure 12.5 volts normally, if not it's getting low or is defective.
