I have a leak...

I have a 2005 Sea Doo GTI. 2 stroke.
Been noticing oily water in the bilge and I have finally found the source. (It's almost always in the last place you look.)

It seems to come from the head above and between the cylinders on the exhaust manifold.
I can't identify anything in the shop manual in this area.

I'd really appreciate if anyone can check out the video and tell me what's gone wrong.

Thanks!

When you run water in the engine through the flush port like you are doing the engine needs to be running. You may be filling the cylinders and crank case with water. Pull the plugs and spin it over see if water comes out. If it does you need to get the water out and get the motor running. Should put it in the water and run a while to burn out The moisture.

The source of your leak is hard to tell from the pictures. Maybe number 4 o ring. If not that something is broken or cracked. You’re going to have to pull the head shell and the head to look. If there is water in the cylinders or crank case you need to get it running as soon as possible. Water in the crank case will rust the bearings and ruin the crank.

Thanks.
The water comes out like that when running too. It's just harder to get the camera in out on the water.
On the hose I usually do the start, water on, water off, engine off, just not this time.

Thank you. It does turn over and run. I ran it briefly after the video.

Sorry I didn’t see that you ran it before I sent the other post. I just hate to see people ruin their stuff. My guess is the fat O-ring on the top of the cylinder. Like I said you will need to pull the shell and the head to look

I appreciate the help.
I know it's hard to judge, but how intimidated should I be about this job?
I've done the steering cable, starter, carbon seal, armature plate assy, and more on my own.
But taking the head apart is new territory.
Any guess on what I would pay someone to do it?

Wow,,,impossible to figure out what that was a picture of!,,,whatever it is,,,it's a huge leak!

Yeah, I thought my bailers weren't working. They've probably been saving my @zz.
It's amazing that it's not at the bottom of the Chesapeake right now.

The video is behind where the exhaust manifold bolts to the exhaust tube. Initially I thought the water was coming from the exhaust manifold so I replaced the gaskets. It's above and between them.

Parts exploded views always give you a good idea of what is going on. Shell and head are pretty straightforward. Will need all the O-rings to put it back together. Then beg, buy, borrow or steal a torque wrench.

If you did a carbon seal pump drive shaft hat c clip ...I’d say you could handle a shell and head.

That leak,,,looks as if you a hose is not connected,,,a head gasket will not leak like Niagara Falls.,,,I just wish I had a clearer picture, that's all.,,maybe it's just the Welch/frost/die casting plug.,,that will spring a big leak.
