I have a sporster with the 5 amp fuse blowing. This mpem looks diffrent than others. I have not checked the starters yet to see if they are shorted internally. The fuse that is blowing I took the fuse out and measured it to ground on both legs of the fuse plug in to ground with my multimeter on the diode function it did not matter which way my leads were on each leg they both rang to ground. the part number on this mpem is 204-470-056. anyone know where on the board this diode lives?
