HX seat hinge cover

does anyone have any suggestions on replacing the seat hinge cover on a 96 HX. mine has completely turned to tar. i couldnt find any aftermarket stuff for that. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, just ebay as no aftermarket ones were ever made and they are getting extremely rare to find.

WSM does make the shock boot cover, Number
WSM 011-850

I attempted to make my own, didn't work so well. They were covers for the covers. If you do it you can polish the aluminum and I think it looks great.

I wonder if JetTrim would be willing to work on some nice custom covers since the do a lot of one off things, or at least they used to.
