HX Restoration

1st time working on seadoo, the ski is a 1995 HX, gas line replace is done, carburetor rebuild with oem kits, want Upgrade to a 96 drive shaft, I'm about install the rebuild 717 back With engine Alignment tool after i clean in side the hull, Any advice what to do or what not to do Would be appreciated. Thank you

The HX is pretty easy to work on. Engine alignment is critical on these.
The newer driveshaft and PTO are better but are getting pretty hard to find.

I did get a 96 driveshaft and pto ready to go, still working on cleaning the hull and watching youtube try to learn how to use the alignment tool , anybody know a good youtube for HX engine install Alignment?
