Hull repair, Gel Coat and possible fiberglass 1997 Seadoo GTX

Several questions.

1: How can the plastic fender/bumper be removed to get a better look as to possible damage under it. See Photo 1

2: The damage looks as if the fiberglass itself is partally cracked. If its repaired should the fiberglass be patched/repaired on the inside and outside of the hull or only on the outside or only on the inside?

3: Gel Coat, If the crack does not exist on the inside of the hull but only on the outside can a repair be made with gel coat only?

4: Where can gel coat for the 1779 Seqadoo GTX be purchased for this model Green. I would like to get the exact color match for this repair if anyone knows of a dealer/distributer of a gel coat that is this color green as exists on the hull.

hey there i see nobody has responded yet... can purchase the dark green at gelcoat.com... exact color match!!! as for the rest, to get the bumpers off for a look drill out rivets carefully punch them out, they may follow the bit though, and thats nice then remove bumpers, you will have to accuire a new rivet gun to put them back on... easy job i think you can get them at home depot or a local hobby lobby, the only reason to repair inside fiberglass is if the crack is extreme if itis just cracked to the fiberglass layer like it looks here, just remove all old fragments and do a gelcoat repair.... you should check out the 2-part video on you tube on gelcoat repair it is rad for beginners. oh yea before gelcoat repair if it is a small crack like spider crack... get a beer bottle opener and widen it up a little to hold the gelcoat good!! hope this helps
