How to unhook the drive shaft from the engine

Hello,

We are currently trying to get the engine out of the sea doo, we are now up to unhooking the drive shaft and we are stuck.

We don't necessarily need to get it out, just free it from the engine.

Its a 787 engine.

push the steel collar (under grey shield) toward back of ski, to expose the snap ring. Pop that off, and then remove pump, to remove the shaft.

i got to do the same thing to replace a carbon ring...does anyone have any pictures???..
